13. How to handle used oils?
As a producer collecting and transporting wastes, we take every effort to fulfil all statutory obligations
of the following acts:
- Act of 27.04.2001 on wastes (Dz.U. No. 62, item 628 with amendments)
- Act of 27.04.2001 Environmental Protection Law (Dz.U. No. 62, item 627 with amendments)
- And administrative decisions and ADR transport regulations
Some notions:
waste producer - meaning every entity whose activities or residence caused
the production of wastes, and each entity that is preliminarily processing, mixing wastes or is performing other
activities changing the character or composition of such wastes; the producer of wastes generated as a result
of the provision of services in scope of building, demolishing, repairing the facilities, cleaning tanks or equipment
and cleaning, maintenance or repairs is an entity, which provides services, unless a service agreement provides
otherwise,
waste collection - every activity, in particular placing wastes in containers,
waste sorting and storing, whose aim is to prepare them for transport to recovery or neutralisation sites.
A waste producer - handles wastes in compliance with the law
[collects them selectively, relays them to relevant entities - the ones with pertinent permits, etc.]
