19. Conditions of providing oil service ensuring company's success.
To provide oil service and be successful:
- tend to service a cleaned lubrication system filled up with fresh oil,
- eliminate any sources of contamination,
- ensure lubrication system's serviceability and proper technical condition.
Suitable oil's physiochemical parameters and its cleanliness have a direct effect upon the operation of
lubricating and sealing systems and turbine sets' adjustment.
To maintain adequate oil cleanliness:
- clean hydrodynamically and wash thoroughly oil installations, any equipment as well as oil system parts,
- install by-pass filters in oil tank,
- install respiration filters on enclosures of bearing pedestals, gears and seal hatches to oil tanks,
- eliminate access of water to oil completely,
- fill oil systems of machines through a by-pass filter,
- eliminate secondary contamination of an oil system during repair and maintenance works and keep the
workplace clean within the area of overhauled turbine sets,
- additional washing with by-pass filtration of oil systems before machine start-up.
